Everyone who works for or on behalf of Motorola Solutions is responsible for their safety and the safety of those around them. Motorola Solutions requires all contractors to assume full responsibility for complying with all applicable regulations in the countries in which they operate.
Before work starts:
As part of our commitment to raise the health and safety bar in our industry, Motorola Solutions has partnered with Avetta Connect as our primary contractor information management system. All partners and contractors performing high risk services for Motorola Solutions are required to become subscribers to and be approved by Avetta. Motorola Solutions requires submission of all required compliance information and supporting documentation for verification prior to beginning work on an MSI project. During the project:
After your company has been qualified, Motorola Solutions expects that you follow all applicable regulations, your company's safety programs, and the MSI EHS Field Projects Manual & Sub-Contractor Guidelines. To ensure that these requirements have been implemented, Motorola Solutions may audit or inspect any contractors or project site during operations.
Accident Investigation and Reporting:
Motorola Solutions Project Managers and EHS Personnel expect to be notified as soon as possible in the event of an accident or injury on a Motorola Solutions project. Motorola Solutions needs to be informed of certain significant events that occur in the field such as but not limited to:
- Death or hospitalization of an employee
- Property damage in excess of $5,000 USD
- Fires, hazardous material spills, or other incidents resulting in activation of emergency response
